A designer and design educator, t.jungle enjoys sharing a wealth of experience in brand design and development with students who get excited about things like the balance of space in a logo, careful kerning in taglines, and the correct use of em dashes—we take this stuff seriously, folks!
As a brand consultant and designer, she has helped clients understand their business models, develop logos, name companies and products, design taglines, and build brand standards. She has done art direction and writing/editing for a variety of small to mid-sized businesses as well as personalities, entrepreneurs, and corporations. She most recently created a brand design for Evolved Healing Arts in Pittsburgh and Harmonist Sanctuary in Denver. She does pro bono brand consulting and design work for Pittsburgh’s Smallest Show in Town, and The Buddhist Center.
Passionate about the narrative capacity of brands she is part storyteller in her own right—with a graphic novel, Chicken: A Comic Cat Memoir published in 2016, winning Bronze in the 2017 Moonbeam Children's Book Awards and double Gold for Best Children’s and Pet Nonfiction in the 2016 Global E-book Awards. Chicken can also be found at Carnegie Libraries.
Other personal work includes design merchandising—with products available in museum shops. In 2019 she was Featured Artist of The Mattress Factory store, donating proceeds from work sold to the Women and Children’s Center of Greater Pittsburgh.
She is currently formulating her next act. Stay tuned!
